Back to the Eighties stage and musical camp will take you on a turbo charged adventure from the 1950s to the 2050s and back to the 80s as we buckle up and pay homage to classic movies come Broadway musicals ‘BACK TO THE FUTURE’, ‘HEATHERS’* and ‘BEETLEJUICE’!

Keep kids of all ages and interests entertained every school holiday period at Sydney Olympic Park with over 30 activities to choose from, including all-day programs.

As the site of Darlinghurst Gaol, home to some of Australia’s most notorious bush rangers celebrates 200 years, NAS will immerse our Art Adventurers in the history and folklore of our outlaw heroes.

NAS invites Young Creatives to make their own mark in the beginning of a new chapter in the 100-year history of the school, a gaol reimagined as a home for artistic access for the community, freedom and expression of art.

oung Creatives workshops enable students aged 13–16 to extend and challenge their knowledge, skills and understanding of art-making through in-depth conceptual and technical study.

Art Adventurers presents workshops for students aged 9–12 to build on their ideas and understanding of the art world.

Mini-Makers offers students aged 6–8 years of age an opportunity to start their art-making journey using a variety of different art-making materials and techniques.

The National Art School’s Future Makers Programs provide young people aged 6–16 with opportunities to engage with artists, art-making and other forms of creative production on site at NAS. Structured on-campus and online workshops form the foundation of the school holiday workshops across the year.

Every school holidays WAYS runs a variety of excursions and activities and these holidays we are offering loads of fun to keep your kids busy.

During this 5-day workshop, participants will engage in a wide variety of musical and theatrical activities as well as drama games, costume making and craft.

The culmination of their work will be to perform a drama production to a warm and friendly audience on the Saturday evening.

At any given Melbourne Young Writers’ Studio holiday program a young writer can expect games, crafts, character building, team activities and of course, bucket loads of fun!

Led by professional Actors, these sessions will explore Drama, Music, Games, Improvisation, Script work and Devising skills, creating a final Performance.

Each summer we run six camps in the school holidays for teenagers (Grades 7 - 11) and also for younger kids (Grades 3 - 6). Each of theses camps are held at our beautiful Luther Heights campsite at Coolum Beach and one at Koojarewon Youth Camp at Highfields
