Now offering kids parties & school holiday workshops at our Castle Cove studio, we provide engaging woodworking projects and craft activities for kids aged 5-12.

From building toolboxes to assembling billy carts to creating slime! Our workshops encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, allowing kids to bring unique ideas to life.

About Built By Kidz Activities

Built By Kidz Activities is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Raymond and Josephine. Raymond is a licensed builder and carpenter who has been honing his craft for over 25 years, and together they are passionate about teaching valuable, practical skills to the next generation. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe setting for children to gain basic carpentry knowledge, refine motor skills, practise problem-solving, and explore their creativity, through kids DIY woodwork activities.

Being parents to three daughters, when we started our business they were all of primary school age, and we tested our DIY woodworking projects with them. They had so much fun and loved the building experience, so knowing our kids loved them, we knew our projects would resonate with other kids as well.

We believe learning should be fun, and have crafted our packages to do just that! We are an online business with both an online store and service for vacation and after school care centres.

Our Mission

Our mission, as a proud Australian owned family business, has always been to empower the every day parent, and assist vacation care centre staff, to facilitate their after school activities and holiday programs, and to excel in providing a good old fashioned customer experience. We want kids to get off their devices, go back to basics, and gain skills through building and stem activities. We aim to provide a fun and meaningful childhood experience where memories are made.
